I found an awesome Flickr set of some cards from the Tested Recipe Institute.
Nothing says "Birthdays & Family Celebrations" like photos so retouched they look like paintings and horrifying food!

Thrifting hasn't turned up many new or unique cookbooks for me lately. I am a sad panda. But I did grab a couple of booklets that had either neat or freakish food pics so I'm including them all in one post. Whee!

A lurker who's finally decided to share some goodies with you all! The venerable Culinary Arts Institute encyclopedic Cookbook (New Revised Deluxe Edition) came into my possession via my granny.
